A Soapy Affair - Why Organic Soaps Are Great For Your Skin

In today's world, more and more individuals are gravitating toward adopting a lifestyle that is more sensible and beneficial to their health. Many people are taking greater initiatives to improve their way of living in a variety of ways, from engaging in general exercise and wellness routines to consuming a more robust diet by consciously selecting organic produce and improving dietary plans.

Using effective skincare products is a first step in this direction.

Soap is a catchall term for any product that removes dirt and oil from the skin, whether it be a solid, liquid or powder; yet even within those categories, there is a wide variety of soaps available, each with its own unique colour scheme, aroma profile, sleek design, and packaging.

There are soaps that eliminate odours, soaps that kill germs, soaps that slow ageing, soaps that moisturise and so on. Soap is something that almost everyone uses and most people use it several times a day. But not all soaps are the same in how well they work or how good they are for your skin.

In general, soap can be divided into two categories:

  • Natural, Organic handmade soaps
  • Commercially manufactured soaps

  • Compared to handcrafted soaps, commercially produced soaps are typically far less expensive as they are mass produced. As we go further into the realm of natural soap, let us explore the advantages it provides and if they are worth the higher price tag.

Because it is the largest organ and is constantly exposed to the outdoor elements, the skin's wellbeing should be a top priority. Toxins in the environment are largely absorbed through the skin, as has been shown by modern scientific research.

Soap, which we rub on our skin ‘on purpose’ and all over our bodies, should be our first concern when we think about this. The health of our skin should be a priority ahead of the water we drink and the food we eat.

Using an all-natural, organic soap is one approach to limit contact with potentially hazardous chemicals.

Organic soaps are better for your skin

Organic soaps like NESARA by Nicky's handmade soaps do not include harmful substances. Soaps, lotions, creams, etc. often include unsuitable ingredients. We do not notice immediate health effects, but they can cause long term damage over time.

There are a lot of benefits to using organic soap. Here are some of the things you will appreciate if you decide to go natural:

    1. What is natural, organic soap?

As you shop, you'll see body cleansers labelled as body bars, body washes, cleansing bars, skincare bars, deodorant soaps, and beauty bars. Really, they're just detergents in disguise.

Most soap you buy today is a commercially made chemical mixture. It's not natural and not really "soap."

All-natural soaps only use plant-based oils and butters. Natural organic ingredients are used to make organic soap. The vitamin, mineral, and antioxidant content of such a product is exceptionally high.

These nutrients are essential for the development, and/or maintenance of human skin, hair, and other parts of the body. Other useful ingredients, such clays, salts, essential oils, and plant extracts, are often included in natural soaps to further enhance their effectiveness.

Although handmade soaps may be more expensive than mass-produced varieties, they are generally gentler on sensitive skin because of the greater quality of the materials used in their creation.

It's best to test out a few different kinds of natural soaps  before settling on the one that works best with your skin.

    2. They are only made from all-natural ingredients

The ingredients are the best reason to use natural soap. It all comes down to the quality of the ingredients.

Most commercial "soaps" are actually synthetic detergents that offer no natural benefits to the skin, while OUR soaps contain skin-nourishing ingredients, are USDA Certified Organic, sustainably produced, cruelty-free, and ethically traded.

We combine a variety of certified organic oils known for their nourishing properties with other ingredients to create a unique combination for each of our soap bar formulations.

We try to use organic, unrefined oils, and raw butters as much as possible, even though they may be a little more expensive. This is because they are less processed and keep more of their natural nutrients intact.

Our passion for gardening and love for nature leads us to include a wide range of natural ingredients in our soaps, including organic butters, natural clays for cleansing, organic herbs, seeds, grains, spices, flowers, vegetables, fruits, chocolate, and pure botanical essential oils for colour, aromatherapy, texture, and mild exfoliation.

The soaps we produce are mild, rich, and hydrating; they have a creamy texture in your hands, produce a great lather that lasts; and it leaves your skin feeling clean, smooth, and healthy looking.

All the ingredients in our natural soaps are sourced from the natural world and used in their purest forms. The final outcome is something that is both harmless and delicate, making it ideal for use on the skin.

Your skin will thank you for it.

    3. In contrast to conventional soap, natural & organic soap does not contain nasties

Unlike commercial bar "soaps" or liquid body washes, which rely on preservatives to extend their shelf life to years, and foam boosters to make them lather, our soap bars contain only the ingredients that they require.

    All-natural soaps have:

    • No chemicals natural components only
    • No artificial fragrances or perfumes
    • No synthetic flavours, or preservatives

Bar soaps available in stores, including some labelled "natural," are actually Syndet bars. The name "syndet" comes from combining the phrases "synthetic" and "detergent." It's important to know that many of the newest shampoo bars on the market are syndets and not soap-based shampoo as their name might imply.

Natural soap, with its mild and skin-friendly components, is an excellent alternative to the harsh synthetic detergents that can irritate and dry up the skin.

What is the point of taking a bath with agricultural elements like chemically treated plant oils? The bars of commercial "soaps" that contain oils and butters are often highly refined.

When making soap and other skincare products, it is far more challenging to deal with unrefined, virgin oils and butters because of their naturally occurring aromas and rich characteristics. As a result, they are considerably at a higher price point.

Although commercial products may claim that it contains skin-beneficial substances like shea butter, olive oil, or natural plant oils, and are CHEAP, these ingredients have likely been processed to the point where they no longer have their "advertised" properties.

    4. They are moisturising

Natural soap made from pure ingredients that come directly from nature is the best form of cleansing for your skin. One of the good things about using organic soap is that it makes glycerine as a by-product. Instead of being an added ingredient, glycerin is actually produced naturally as part of the soap production process in handmade natural soap. The term "saponification" is used to describe the chemical reaction that produces soap. After saponification, the original constituents have been chemically transformed into soap, glycerin, and a small amount of water.

Glycerin is a humectant that attracts moisture from the air and binds it to the skin, leaving it soft, supple, and protected.

In the commercial soap industry, glycerin is removed for two reasons. Because too much glycerin shortens the life of soap and it can be sold or used in higher-priced products like the lotion your skin needs after using their "soap" detergent, they eliminate the glycerin from their product.

Without glycerine, soap can strip the skin of its natural oils, leaving it dry, flaky, and irritated.

    5. Real Aromatherapy

In order to provide aromatherapeutic advantages, natural scented soaps are created using only pure essential oils, never fragrance oils.

There is more to essential oils than just their aroma. Take a few deep breaths in the shower or bath. In addition to helping you relax; aromatherapy can also help you feel refreshed and energised.

Essential oils have a unique chemical makeup that cannot be replicated in the lab.

The therapeutic benefits of essential oils are not present in fragrance oils since fragrance oils are generated artificially, and even those derived from natural components are not as potent.

Essential oils extracted from plants are the only ones proven to trigger a cascade of biochemical reactions in the brain, with far-reaching effects on the physical, mental, and spiritual realms.

Although synthetic fragrance oils can be used to create a floral or herbal aroma, they are not effective as aromatherapy. Also, up to three thousand individual components may be hidden behind the general labelling terms "fragrance" or "parfum."

    6. Lather it up

Since it is a natural surfactant, a bar of natural soap that has been formulated correctly and cured sufficiently can produce lather and clean without drying the skin. As a result, it is useful for naturally cleansing the skin of impurities, while also producing lovely bubbles and lather.

Natural components like coconut oil and castor oil, in addition to the glycerin that has been preserved, contribute to a luxurious, velvety lather. The creamy, silky lather from natural soap is much richer than that from commercial soap.

    7. A smaller carbon footprint

We at NESARA by Nicky have always tried to stand out from the crowd since we know our actions have an enormous effect on the world around us. We desire to become better. It's ironic that the one thing we use to keep ourselves clean also has such a negative impact on the planet.

When we use commercial "soap" bars or washes, we lather up with a cocktail of synthetic substances like scents, colours, preservatives, and detergents during our daily showers and baths.

Now think about all the people who use commercial soap every day—there are millions of them.

Many of these chemicals do not decompose in the natural environment, therefore they must be disposed of in some way. They get into our septic fields or water treatment plants when they wash down our drains.

Scientists now know that toxic chemicals frequently make their way into water supplies and build up in ecosystems. Fish, birds, and flowers are just some of the many species that these toxins have an adverse effect on.

Our soaps are made from organic ingredients. Organic ingredients come from organic farms, which are better for the environment. It does this through preventing pollution of our soil and water supply, encouraging the use of renewable energy, and fostering conservation efforts.

Selecting a natural bar of soap has additional positive environmental effects, such as less wasteful packaging. Companies like ours who produce natural soap typically use recycled or recyclable materials for shipping and packaging.

As an additional thought, if you use a liquid body wash, how many plastic bottles and pumps do you throw away annually? Since liquid body wash is primarily water, transporting it results in greater carbon dioxide emissions.

    8. Organic Soaps are Unique

We didn't invent anything new. But I do know that our natural soap is made in small batches by people who love making natural products and have a mission to do so.

Soapmaking, to us, is a combination of science and art that we spent a long time perfecting. Simply said, it's a labour of love. Incorporating wonderful natural and organic ingredients, we take the time to develop nourishing soap formulas without compromising on appearance or aroma.

Companies that manufacture commercial soaps sometimes mass produce them with profit maximisation in mind rather than the needs of the skin in mind. Not much sets them apart from everyone else.

Each bar variety at NESARA by Nicky is crafted using our own special secret ingredients. Our recipes are developed in-house with the help of science and organic elements.

Of course, we want our bars to look nice, but aesthetics are not our primary concern. Nature provides us with all of the colours, smells, and textures we admire. All the herbs, flowers, vegetables, fruits, sustainable oils, butters, and pure essential oils that go into our wonderful soaps are certified organic, so you know they'll be good for your skin and the environment.

Each of our natural soap bars is designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of customers, regardless of skin type or other preferences.

Our Homemade Collection Luxe Soaps will not disappoint those who want variety. Since your skin is the largest organ in your body, finding the right soap that is gentle on it is a real treat.

    9. Keepers of The Beauty Conscience

Even though there are some big commercial soap companies with a social conscience, most companies that make natural & organic soap have the utmost respect for the earth and all the living things on it.

To us, "environmental stewardship" is not just a catchphrase. This is not a negotiating tactic, a statement of political ideology, or a concern for public perception.

At NESARA by Nicky we only use ingredients that come from ethical and sustainable sources. With our usage of organic components, we can help promote organic agriculture.
